Room to Grow, Back Under One Roof with Thrasher
Omaha, Neb.– Supportworks, Inc., celebrated the opening of its new headquarters near 120th& Giles Road with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, June 15th.
Supportworks is a developer and distributor of products and services to support a tight-knit network of foundation and concrete repair companies across North America. The company has seen exponential growth since its founding in 2008, as evidenced by a workforce that has consistently expanded by at least 11 percent year-over-year. This 200,000-square-foot facility in Papillion was specially built to accommodate its nearly 100 employees, as well as sister company and flagship dealer, Thrasher.
“This is an unforgettable year for us,” said Dave Thrasher, President of Supportworks. “We celebrated our 10-year anniversary in March and are now moving into a beautiful new space where we’ll work together to continue redefining the home repair industry.”
Supportworks and Thrasher broke ground on the massive construction project in 2016, just up the road from Thrasher’s previous headquarters which they had outgrown. Adjacent to its substantial warehouses, the two-story office building includes a state-of-the-art training center and conference rooms, casual in- and outdoor meeting areas, a cafeteria, a fitness center, an ultramodern video lab, sunlit workspaces and more.
“We are proud to walk alongside Thrasher and our other dealers, fueling innovation and providing radical support to help their businesses succeed,” Dave Thrasher continued. “Our new headquarters is not only an ideal space to nurture the midwestern spirit and creative thinking that got us here, but also one where we’re excited to welcome our family of dealers for collaboration and training.”
The companies partnered with TACK Architects, Christensen Development, Morrissey Engineering, Olsson Associates, Sampson Construction, American National Bank, Lund Company and many others to bring the building to life.
Last Friday’s official ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11850 Valley Ridge Drive was intended for these partners and employees of Thrasher and Supportworks. A community open house is planned for late September. The City of Papillion is also due to break ground on a lake and public walking trails immediately south of the building this fall.
About Supportworks
Supportworks is an outgrowth of the Thrasher basement waterproofing and foundation repair business, begun by Greg and Nancy Thrasher in 1975. Seizing an imperative to create a better experience for homeowners, the Thrashers embarked on a parallel mission to manufacture best-in-class products for foundation repair and offer consultative business support to a network of likeminded companies. Supportworks was born in 2008. Offerings have since expanded to include concrete repair solutions, and its network of exclusive dealers is already more than 120-strong and growing.
